The Epiphany of the Lord
The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. 36When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” John 1:35-36
Jesus said to them "Come after me, and I will make you fisher of men." Then they abandoned their nets and followed him. - Mark 1:17-18
In their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit; he cried out " ehat have you to do with us, Jesus of Nasareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are - the Holy One of God"
Mark 23:24
He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and he drove out many demons, not permitting them to speak because they knew him.
Mark 1:34
And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
Mark 1:40-41
And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”
John 2:15-16
Jesus said to Nicodemus "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life."
Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
